Hotmail founder calls on Kejriwal

NEW DELHI: Hotmail founder Sabeer Bhatia in a meeting with Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal at the Delhi Secretariat today held discussions over use of technology in improving governance.

Hotmail founder Sabeer Bhatia in a meeting with Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal at the Delhi Secretariat today held discussions over use of technology in improving governance.

Sharing several technological initiatives, Bhatia said they can be used both in emergency situations as well as day-to-day functioning of departments like transport, water, traffic, etc.

They discussed how the use of the latest technology can help in swifter redressal of issues in several areas of governance. As asked by the Chief Minister, Bhatia is going to give a presentation over the same on Thursday in the presence of Cabinet and senior bureaucrats.

The Delhi Government will soon felicitate cricketer Manjot Kalra whose match-winning century rode India to victory against Australia in the U-19 World Cup final earlier this month.

The Delhi boy, who was accompanied by his family members and MLA Pawan Sharma, today called on the Chief Minister at the Delhi Secretariat. The Chief Ministercongratulated the young cricketer and his family over the feat achieved by him.
