Kejriwal’s car recovery: LG asks CM to appreciate police efforts

NEW DELHI:Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal asked the Chief Minister, Arvind Kejriwal to appreciate the efforts of the Delhi Police that had led to the recovery of his WagonR car stolen on October 13 from the Secretariat.

Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal asked the Chief Minister, Arvind Kejriwal to appreciate the efforts of the Delhi Police that had led to the recovery of his WagonR car stolen on October 13 from the Secretariat.

In a letter written to the Chief Minister, the LG has mentioned that after receiving the information regarding the incident of theft, he had immediately asked Commissioner of Police Amulya Patnaik to take action in the matter. The police constituted teams to search for the car. CCTV camera footages of the place of incident and border areas were scanned intensively. Intensive checking of parking places were carried out and all the picket staff were put on alert.
