New Delhi, August 22
A 52-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly raping his 16-year-old neighbour in north Delhi’s Kamla Nagar, the Delhi Police said today.
The accused has been identified as Ram Kanaujia. He has been booked under the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, police sources said.
The girl alleged that Kanaujia was her father’s good friend and often visited their house. He sexually assaulted her several times, she alleged. Kanaujia has been arrested. —TNS
