PM using CS, police to target Kejriwal: AAP

The alleged assault on Chief Secretary (CS) Anshu Prakash is back to trouble Chief Minister (CM) Arvind Kejriwal whose scheduled questioning by the Delhi Police in the matter this Friday today prompted the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) to accuse Prime Minister (PM) Narendra Modi of stooping to low levels and “misusing government machineries” to target Kejriwal.

AAP Delhi spokesperson Saurabh Bhardwaj alleged the opponent BJP and the PM are harassing Kejriwal through what the AAP called a “fabricated” case of assault and the Delhi Police and the CS is being misused to trouble the CM with an aim to scuttle the work of the AAP government.

“Petty politics of Modi is now crossing all limits and is becoming increasingly vicious. Till this date Arvind Kejriwal has been harassed by futile police and CBI raids,” alleged Bhardwaj while claiming that the top party leadership, including ministers like Manish Sisodia and Satyendra Jain, have been defamed and MLAs troubled by “false” cases.

The AAP MLA said it is before everybody how courts have been dismissing such false cases one by one.

“Agenda of narrow minded politics by Modi is visible more than ever. The CS is being used by Modi to file a false case against Kejriwal to delay good governance work,” said Bhardwaj while stating that it is for the first time a CM is being questioned by the police in a false case in the democratic history of India.

He claimed the obvious reason behind is “good governance model” of quality education, healthcare, electricity and water reforms brought by the Kejriwal government. Noting that Kejriwal’s popularity among the masses is “unacceptable” to Modi, Bhardwaj claimed, thus the blatant show of “muscle power” by the LG and police.

In course, Bhardwaj refers to the “suspected” death of judge BH Loya who was hearing the Sohrabuddin Sheikh fake encounter case, alleging, “In a country where the CBI ravages a person to commit suicide, where serving judge is murdered in cold blood. Both deaths go without any investigations. Moreover, the wrong seems to be defended... in a fabricated case of assault the CM will be questioned to no surprise”.
