PWD directs officials to minimise paper work

NEW DELHI: The public works department (PWD) of Delhi has directed its officials to minimise the use of papers in their routine work and encourage online submissions.



New Delhi, March 17

The public works department (PWD) of Delhi has directed its officials to minimise the use of papers in their routine work and encourage online submissions. The officials are asked to upload orders, memorandums on the official websites, utilise both sides of pages and limit the use of hard copies for communications. 

The move comes following the directions of the Union Finance Ministry on use of papers, as per the department. – TNS
