Ranjeet Kaur is new chief of Istri Akali Dal

NEW DELHI:The national president of Istri Akali Dal, Jageer Kaur appointed DSGMC member Ranjeet Kaur as the president of Istri Akai Dal of Delhi state unit.

The national president of Istri Akali Dal, Jageer Kaur appointed DSGMC member Ranjeet Kaur as the president of Istri Akai Dal of Delhi state unit. She reorganised the unit after the discussion with SAD president Sukhbir Singh Badal and the senior leaders in the capital.

Besides, senior leaders Prakash Kaur and Narinder Kaur have become pattern of the Delhi unit, former councilor Ritu Vohra, Amrita Singh and Kamaljeet Kaur Sidhu have been appointed as senior vice-presidents.

Jageer Kaur said that councilor Manpreet Kaur Kalka, Mini Kaur Walia and Amarjeet Kaur Pinki were appointed as vice-presidents. Senior journalist Avneet Kaur has been appointed as general secretary and media in-charge.

Apart from this, 1984 Sikh Riot victim Ganga Kaur and social activist Harpreet Kaur have also been appointed as general secretaries. Harpreet Kaur and Manjeet Kaur Sraoop Nagar are now joint secretaries of new organisation of Istri Akali Dal of Delhi unit.
