Rs 25k for info on man who made obscene gestures

The Delhi Police has announced a reward for information about the unidentified man who was seen masturbating next to a Delhi University (DU) student in a moving bus last week, said police.

The girl student had filmed the act and uploaded the video on social media causing widespread outcry.

Following the incident, a case under sexual harassment and performing obscene act in public was registered at the Vasant Vihar police station on February 10.

The department has appealed to people to help in catching the accused and anyone providing information leading to his arrest will be rewarded with Rs 25,000, said a senior police officer.
