Society divided in caste, religion needs protection

NEW DELHI:Jamat-e-Islami Hind (JIH) president Maulana Syed Jalaluddin Umari asked the activists of the Student Islamic Organisation (SIO) to come forward to protect the society that was divided in castes and religions.

Jamat-e-Islami Hind (JIH) president Maulana Syed Jalaluddin Umari asked the activists of the Student Islamic Organisation (SIO) to come forward to protect the society that was divided in castes and religions.

Addressing a huge gathering at a three-day conference – Reclaiming Dignity, Designing Future – Maulana said in the society where woman was not safe, innocent people were attacked on the basis of caste and religion and government had no plan for the youth, the youth are unaware of their future, somebody should come forward to unite the society raising the issue of humanity.

He said political parties were using youngsters for their benefit. They do not chalk out plans to make better future of youths. Human rights are being violated in every state. “Adiwasi and Dalit women are unable to maintain their dignity. In such an atmosphere the activists of the SIO should work in their colleges, universities and elsewhere to eradicate this menace from the society. – TNS
