New Delhi, March 20
Swaraj India today announced the names of 34 candidates for the municipal elections in the city taking the total tally to 130 candidates at a time when the Aam Aadmi Party’s list has reached around 262 candidates for the elections to be held on April 22.
The AAP released its fourth list of 14 candidates for the polls late last night and is in process of finalising its remaining 10 candidates, said a party member.
Swaraj India, which is expecting to throw a good challenge to the AAP besides the sitting BJP and Congress, is contesting the elections on clean Delhi and environment agenda at a time when the Kejriwal-led party is looking to target the BJP and Congress on mismanagement and corruption.
