Woman suicide attempt at Metro station

NEW DELHI:A 25-year-old woman, working at a private hospital, today allegedly attempted suicide by jumping before a Metro train.

A 25-year-old woman, working at a private hospital, today allegedly attempted suicide by jumping before a Metro train.

According to CISF official, the incident happened at the Guru Dronacharya station in the morning. The woman identified as F Nishat allegedly jumped on the track as the train bound for Samaypur Badli was moving. After the incident, Metro services were disrupted for about ten minutes.

The woman, an employee of a private hospital, suffered a fracture on her right hand and was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital. The police are trying to ascertain the reason for suicide bid.
