With confident smiles on face, a large number of students received degrees at the annual convocation ceremony organised at Ramgarhia Girls College. Dr S P Singh, former Vice Chancellor of GNDU, Amritsar, graced the occasion as chief guest and Prof Gurbhajan Gill, a renowned Punjabi writer, as guest of honour.

The event commenced with a prayer to the Almighty . Thereafter, the chief guest conferred degrees on 432 students and roll of honour was awarded to 10 students who had performed brilliantly in academics, cultural activities and sports. The chief guest congratulated the students on their achievements.

He said, “Though you have achieved a milestone, many others yet remain to be achieved. Always bear in mind that for those who have the confidence to venture into the world of immense possibilities and challenges, only sky is the limit.”

Old students reunited
