Annual fest at Rait college ends

The two-day annual fest ‘Navrang’ today concluded at Dronacharya Post Graduate College of Education at Rait. Dr (Major) Vishal Sharma, Secretary, Board of School Education, who was the chief guest, said such events led to all-round development of students.

He exhorted students to follow their goals with dedication and devotion and learn skill development which was a pre-requisite for success in their lives. He gave away prizes to best participants of various events. Students presented Saraswati Vandana and girls performed bhangra.

In ADMAD show, the Dronacharya PG College team emerged topper, followed by GGDSD College, Rajpura, and Government College, Dharamsala, which came second and third, respectively.

In extempore, Anmol and Suraj of Govt PG College, Dharamsala, bagged the first and second positions, respectively, and Banita of Dronacharya PG College, Rait, got the third position. A consolation prize was given to Ekta Dhawan of Dronacharya PG College.

In the group dance competition, Kanta College of Education, Chalwara, bagged the first position. Dronacharya PG College, Rait, was second and KLB DAV Girls College, Palampur, third.

In duet dance, Dronacharya PG College, Rait, secured the first position, KLB DAV College, Palampur second and Awasthi College of Education, Dharamsala, third.
