The second and final day of the International Conference being organised in SCD Govt College, Ludhiana, opened with four technical sessions running parallel at multiple venues as. In accordance with the theme of the conference, ‘Transforming India with Skills and Innovations’- the thrust of the research papers remained on empowering the youth with skills.
The second day was graced by eminent professors of various universities. Dr SK Chadha, University Business School, Dr SK Tomar, Dept of Maths, Dr Ravi Inder Singh, UBS were present from Panjab Univerisity, Chandigarh, showed their research papers. Dr Behram Ramesh from Afghanistan also presented his research paper during this conference.
In the valedictory function, Dr Ashwani Bhalla, gave an overview of the conference and said there were plenty of jobs but the need of the hour is to provide a skilled workforce. Dr SK Tomar gave the valedictory address and said the development of the country is in a transitional phase and so is the education process. Education comprises of three components- teacher, student and curriculum. These three need to be constantly analysed and modified accordingly.
Around 100 research papers were presented during the 10 technical sessions. Varied topics ranging from the seemingly trivial everyday concerns such as consumer awareness, on-line marketing, on-line price discrimination cognitive learning & teaching, ethical liabilities of the teachers- burning down to individual perception and interpretation to far more graver issues like cyber hacking and cyber crime and methods to control it in view of the enormity of the situation which can lead to high-profile conflict between nations.
