As Messis and Ronaldos slug it out for football supremacy in 2018 FIFA cup, millions of football fans are glued to their television screens rooting for the favourite  teams. Chandigarh is no different. 

From clubs to bars and restaurants there has been a surge in clientele as big screens, special menus are being tried out. Some of them even dishing out specialised menus like Cristiano Ronaldo Scotch to a complete Mexican treats. Some even doling out special discounts to draw in more football fans.

And even in football grounds in the city, small children are using the FIFA cup matches to motivate themselves to do better. The Tribune team caught up with young budding footballers on what the world cup means to them .
