HARIDWAR: Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways and Shipping Nitin Gadkari has announced aid for development of new road network and restoration of roads damaged in the 2013 natural disaster.

Haridwar, January 5

Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways and Shipping Nitin Gadkari has announced aid for development of new road network and restoration of roads damaged in the 2013 natural disaster.

An announcement was made by Nitin Gadkari in the presence of Swami Ramdev at the Patanjali Yogpeeth here today.

Gadkari said Rs 1,300 crore would soon be released for a total of 890 km road network in Uttarakhand.

A flyover will also be constructed near the Patanjali Yogpeeth,15 km from Haridwar city. — TNS
