If the likes of prawns, nuts, sprouts, legumes form a part of your daily diet, that’s half the battle won. The other half can be taken care of by the philosophy that crash dieting is the worst thing in the world. Anything left? Television actress Debina Bonnerjee (of Nach Baliye and Ramayan fame) claims to not have a sweet tooth at all and loves the gym too!

Push, pull, practice...

My workout is a mix of pilates, cross-fit training, which consists of burpees, jumping, pull and push ups as well as some kick-boxing in the week too.

Can’t do without gym

Yes, I am now an absolute gym person! All my functional training happens in the gym itself, as working-out in the open earlier used to get me all tanned; so the gym became an ideal option for me.

Again, it’s warm water

A glass of warm water with lemon, which helps make the body alkaline and boosts its metabolism well!

Diet code

My breakfast is three egg whites, one fruit and a handful of dry fruits. Lunch is brown rice and legumes with green salad. In the evenings, I enjoy snacking on boiled sprouts or some steamed momos. Dinner is sauteed vegetables with grilled fish or chicken. My cheat food day is all about prawn dishes, as I just love prawns; cannot control myself on eating any dish with prawns!

Sleep mode

I am quite adaptable to both ways of sleeping. I can happily sleep through the night and wake up early in the morning to a fresh start, as well as stay awake through the night and sleep in the day. I have got used to this due to our hectic shooting schedules and ways of life in the industry.

No sweet tooth

It surprises me too sometimes that being a Bengali I don’t have a sweet tooth at all! So, yes, I am not really fond of any sweet dishes in particular, and try to lay off sugar as much as I can.

Don’t crash

I feel that youngsters these days are into heavy dieting plans to become slim and trim, but my advice to them would be that crash-dieting is really the worst thing one can do to their body! So guys please follow the rule of eating in moderation, eating healthy and substantial foods and burning it off well by working out effectively and regularly.

When it comes to the fittest actor in B-town, it definitely has to be Priyanka Chopra. She has maintained an extremely fit and healthy body; not too thin, which makes her look really sexy! And in Hollywood it has to be Jennifer Lopez, who has maintained her body and looks so very well for so many years.
