While the Internet is abuzz with elections in America, a number of gifs and memes have been trending not only on Twitter, but also on Facebook. So, we spared ourselves the politico-social war since the bee’s too bad at being politically correct, and we let the Last Fall; Ted Cruz’s team created a meme-inspiring video to appeal to gun-rights voters. This year’s presidential race is more about zingers in the form of memes and GIFs of 140 characters, especially with presumptive Republican nominee Donald Trump socking it to his rivals daily on social media!

In India, except for Abhishek and KRK wars, there’s nothing much interesting. However, regionally, Damdami Taksal posted a few videos on their Facebook page showing that they accepted the challenge from the radical right wing with their jatha at the Beas rally, which will be held on May 25. The videos have now been pulled out. So, that brings us to our question—do we really need religions when every religion preaches humanity?

Tweet trail

They wouldn’t just let the homosexuals be, not just in India, but abroad too. Well, the bee says, “Haters gonna hate, you keep your swag on!” Gay teenager’s tweet goes viral after he admitted that he was forced to take his boyfriend to their prom in secret because his parents disapproved of their relationship. The tweet has gone viral with more than 40,000 likes and 18,000 re-tweets. Myren, a student at a high school in Maryland, took to the social media site sharing photos of himself and his partner Ralph ahead of the event.

A gram of lens

Remember Beyoncé wore that sheer Givenchy gown with hand-sewn crystals to the Met Gala last year and broke the internet? India Ross, an 18-year-old high school student from St. Louis, Missouri, created a Beyoncé-inspired look to wear to her prom and now Ross is having her own moment of viral fame. Bee just love the crystals on the gown, so keep shining like the shiny disco ball!

Tube tales

Artistes are sensitive and empathetic; Florence and the Machine just go on to prove that in the recent viral video where they are singing with a 15-year-old Hospice Austin patient. The video of a woman in a chewbacca mask has become the most seen Facebook live video of all time and has garnered close to 140 million views since it was uploaded on Saturday.

Titled It's the simple joys, the video features Candace Payne, a stay-at-home mother of two from Texas, and a braying Chewbacca mask. Not just that; a song written by two teachers about tidying up in the classroom has become a viral hit online. The song, called Tidy Up Rhumba, has been viewed more than two million times on YouTube. Teachers Christalla and George came up with the song to help make tidying up at their school in London more fun.

Are you ready to Rumba?
