Film: Veerappan

Ram Gopal Varma is back, with a hope to create the Amitabh Bachchan-starrer Aag magic on the big screen. The cast of Veerappan includes Sandeep Bharadwaj, Sachin Joshi and Lisa Ray. While the uncanny resemblance of the protagonist with the brigand is grabbing attention, what remains to be found is whether or not the script of the movie intrigued the audience to the same degree. Over to the audience!

Phenomenal acting

Sandeep has acted really well. His performance stands out.

Make-up commendable

The only person associated with the film that I would like to commend is the make-up artist! Apart from the fact that the main lead is made to look an exact replica of the bandit, there is nothing striking that the flick offers.

Good watch

The only issue with biopics and real-life inspired cinematic adaptations is that since the audience already knows the climax, there is little that a filmmaker can do to keep the narrative gripping. Having said that, this one makes for a good watch!
