MUZAFFARNAGAR: Eighteen ‘kawariyas’ from Haryana were injured when the truck they were travelling in overturned on the Meerut-Karnal highway here, police said on Saturday.



Muzaffarnagar, July 30

Eighteen ‘kawariyas’ from Haryana were injured when the truck they were travelling in overturned on the Meerut-Karnal highway here, police said on Saturday.

The incident took place on Friday evening when the pilgrims were on their way to Haridwar to collect ‘Ganga jal’, they said.

The injured were shifted to a hospital, police said. PTI
