Panipat, May 26
Two persons, including a woman, were killed and 15 others injured when a mini-bus collided with a canter near 70 Milestone Hotel on the National Highway-1 in Samalkha in the district late Friday night.
The deceased have been identified as Roshni Devi (52), wife of Subhash and resident of Tilakpur Kotla, near Dwarka in Delhi; and Akbar Ali (28), a farmer from Nachron village in Jathlana of Yamunanagar district. A case was registered against the unknown canter driver. —TNS
