24 RSS members from other states running govt: Cong

CHANDIGARH: The Congress today released a list of 34 aides, including 24 RSS members from other states, who, the party alleged, had been running the Manohar Lal Khattar government at the expense of people’s money.

The Congress today released a list of 34 aides, including 24 RSS members from other states, who, the party alleged, had been running the Manohar Lal Khattar government at the expense of people’s money.

“As many as 24 outsiders of the RSS are posted in CM’s office and residence at heavy salaries and perks.”

“Khattar’s OSD Neeraj Daftaur, who looks after all secret assignments is from Chhattisgarh; Amrender Singh, another OSD who looks after an NGO run by Khattar’s brother is from UP; Dhamma Pal, appointed AMM in Hartron, is from West Bengal; D Majumdar, member of HERC with cabinet rank is from West Bengal; Alok Verma, ADC to CM, is from South India; Ranjish Garg, another ADC, is from Delhi; Anurag Mishra, PA to CM, is from UP; and Amit Arya, Media Advisor to CM, is from Himachal Pradesh. They all have an RSS background,” alleged Ran Singh Mann, a spokesman of the Congress and a former Chief Parliamentary Secretary in Haryana.

Mann said Des Raj, “An RSS man from Jammu and Kashmir, is a caretaker at CM’s residence; Sunil Sharma, liasioning officer, is from Punjab; Parveen Bhalla, OSD with APS to CM, is from Punjab; Arun Sangwan and SK Narwar, who deal with CLUs unofficially, are from Delhi; Abhimanyu, a PA, is from Delhi; Hardeep, another PA, is from Chandigarh; Rajnees Goyal, assistant in CM’s office, is from Punjab; and Ajay Mohan Goyal, posted with the PS to CM, is from Chandigarh.”

He further said, “Vinod Dhiman, an ETO, has been posted as assistant in CMO; Anil Sharma from Karnataka is chief coordinator in the HSIIDC; JC Kaushal from Punjab is OSD in CM’s office, while Ujjwal and Puneet, both from Delhi, are IT consultants.”

Mann said they all were RSS people and have been drawing salary ranging from Rs 50,000 to Rs 2 lakh from the state exchequer, besides perks and other facilities in violation of norms.

“It is for the first time that the post of the ADC has been heard in the CM’s office or residence,” he said.

Mann has also mentioned the names of OSDs Captain Bhupender Singh, Raj Kumar Bhardwaj and Bhupeshwar Dayal; Jagdish Chopra, political advisor; Deepak Mangla, political secretary; Yogender Malik, advisor; Rajesh Khullar, PS to CM; APSs Rajbir Singh and Rakesh Gupta and OSD Mukul Kumar in the list.

Responding to Mann’s allegations, Jawahar Yadav, a former OSD to CM and chairman of the Haryana Housing Board, tweeted, “Ran Singh Mann ji, all OSDs in CMO are Indian unlike your party we do not have a foreigner as a president.”
