Panipat, April 28

After PM Narendra Modi travelled on the Airport Express Line of the Delhi Metro on Saturday, Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi chose to reach Punjab by Sachkhand Express.

Rahul boarded the train at New Delhi railway station to visit grain markets in Mandi Gobindgarh and Khanna. He chose to travel in a general coach.

Running late by over an hour when the train stopped at Panipat, he came to the window of his coach. When asked if he was travelling in a general coach to give a reply to Modi, he replied: “What do you think about it?”

When pressed for an answer, he said, “Look at my patience, the future will give its reply.”

Rahul did not answer any queries about why top leaders were trying to bond with the common man through such acts.

To a question whether he had talked to his co-passengers, he said, “I have not yet talked to any co-passenger. We kept on talking among ourselves.”
