The CBSE Class X results were released at 2pm on Thursday. As many as 10 students of Major RN Kapoor DAV Senior Secondary Public School in Ambala scored CGPA (Cumulative Grade Point Average)-10
The students, who scored CGPA 10, include: Arushi Sharma, Parth, Protey, Rishabh, Vivek, Prabhat, Yatin and Vidula. Two students of MM International School scored CGPA-10 while five students scored CGPA 9 and above. Over 18 students score a CGPA between 8 and 9
Out of 192 students, 21 students of DHD SD Public School scored CGPA 10. The meritorious students include Aashna Gupta, Arshdeep Kaur, Manan Singla, Tanya Bhutani, Aanchal Gupta, Riddhi Gupta, Kartik Chhabra, Shrishti Garg, Vishal Dhiman, Ashita Sharma, Shubham, Mokshi, Rishabh, Yatharth, Akshay, Vishesh, Anmol Gulati, Kashish, Brahmruta, Shivam and Namanpreet
Murlidhar DAV Public School students also did well in the CBSE Class X results; 47 students from this school got CGPA 10. Around 90 students from the school score CGPA 9. Commerce topper wants to be an IAS officer
Karnal: Nidhi Doda (see pic) from Nigdhu village, the state topper (commerce stream) in the Class XII exams conducted by the Haryana Board of School Education (HBSE), has high aspirations. She wants to be an IAS officer. A student of Anand Public School, Nigdhu, Nidhi scored 96.6 per cent in the exams. “It was a great moment for my family, village and the school. We are proud of her,” said Rajesh Kumar Doda, Nidhi’s father. “I will like to get enrolled either in Shri Ram College or Kirorimal College in New Delhi for BCom,” said the topper. Surinder Kumar Doda, school principal, said she had always been a bright student and he was hopeful that she would keep bringing laurels to her village. — Parveen Arora
