The recruitment process under the Army’s Agniveer scheme is set to begin from February 13, an official said.

The registration for male candidates from Ambala, Kaithal, Kurukshetra, Karnal, Yamunanagar and Panchkula districts besides Chandigarh, and women candidates from Delhi, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh and Chandigarh will take place from February 13 to March 22.

An official spokesperson said the eligible beneficiaries could register on https://joinindianarmy.nic.in. This would include categories such as Agniveer (General Duty), Agniveer (Technical), Agniveer (Clerk/Store Keeper Technical), Agniveer (Tradesman) for male candidates. For female candidates, there would be recruitment for Women Military Police.

In the first phase of the recruitment process, an online entrance exam will be held. In the second phase, the candidates, whose names appeared on the merit list based on their performance in the online exam, would be invited to participate in recruitment rallies.
