The BJP core committee today finalised the blueprint for the golden jubilee celebrations of Haryana’s creation. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will kick off the celebrations from Gurgaon on November 1.

The meeting, presided over by BJP Haryana affairs in charge Anil Jain, resolved to make the Prime Minister’s November 1 rally a show of strength. With that end in mind, the meeting decided to ask legislators and senior leaders from the National Capital Region (NCR) to mobilise crowd for the rally.

Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar informed the meeting the state government had zeroed in on 50 schemes that Modi would launch.

Sources said Khattar would present at the rally the report card of the BJP government’s two years in office. The government aims to blunt Opposition’s propaganda against its alleged acts of omission and commission.

State BJP chief Subhash Barala said the party and the government were geared up for making the year-long celebrations a success. To give credibility to the November 1 rally, the meeting wanted the government to ensure presence of those persons from the state who had carved a niche for themselves.
