Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar said here today that the BJP government would ensure uniform development in the state in keeping with Prime Minister’s motto “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas”.

Speaking as the chief guest at a state-level function of the Bharat Vikas Parishad (BVP) here, Khattar lauded the parishad for serving the masses by opening 46 branches in the state.

Taking a dig at his critics who blamed his government for being slow on all fronts, including development, Khattar said he wanted transparency in the functioning of the government and its policies and welfare schemes should be implemented in such a way that no one could raise accusing fingers against the regime. He said he would not repeat the mistakes committed by his predecessor and not allow corruption to flourish.

He announced to allot a plot to the BVP and Rs 5 lakh for the construction of its building in HUDA’s sector 19 here. He also announced a grant of Rs 2 lakh for the Banwasi Kalyan Ashram.

The Chief Minister said the BJP had enrolled 25 lakh members in Haryana and its target was to enrol about 10 crore members in the country.
