Shopkeeper dies in mishap

A shopkeeper was killed when a truck hit his motorcycle on NH 73, near Panchayat Bhawan in Yamunanagar on Tuesday night. The deceased has been identified as Manvinder Singh of Model Town. As per information, Manvinder was running a utensils shop in Jagadhri. He was returning home from his shop. When he reached near Panchayat Bhawn, a truck hit his motorcycle from the rear side. He died on the spot and the driver fled. A case against an unknown truck driver has been registered. TNS

Projects reviewed

Principal Secretary, Coordination, CM’s announcements, TC Gupta on Wednesday reviewed the progress of various projects announced by CM Manohar Lal Khattar in the past two-and-a-half years in the district. He directed officials to execute the announcements seriously, speedily and in a time-bound manner. He also reviewed the progress of various projects in each Assembly segment and asked the officials to upload the status report at the earliest. OC
