Mahendragarh, June 19
Industry and Commerce Minister Vipul Goel on Tuesday conducted a site visit of the integrated multi-modal logistics hub project in Basirpur village under the Nijampur block.
Interacting with mediapersons on the occasion, the minister said the Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs had approved a budget of Rs 1,029 crore for setting up the project, that would be developed over 1,280 acres in Basirpur, Ghatasher and Talot villages.
“Besides, 74 acres of Shapur Avval, Basirpur, Mukandpura and Tajipur have been purchased from farmers for constructing a 60-metre-wide road,” said Goel, adding that on completion, the project would turn out to be a gateway of development for Haryana.
BJP MLAs Abhay Singh Yadav and Om Prakash Yadav, Additional Chief Secretary Devender Singh, Deputy Commissioner Garima Mittal, HSIIDC Additional Managing Director Narhari Bangar and Senior Manager (Estate) SS Lamba were present on the occasion.
