Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar today held a ‘khula darbar’ at his camp office. It was the second ‘khula darbar’ of the CM in his constituency after joining the office. He received more than 200 complaints related to pension, electricity meters, health facility and police inaction.
Khattar said necessary action would be taken to redress their grievances. He also directed the officials to resolve their problems at the earliest.
He also announced increase in the monthly wages of contractual ambulance drivers from Rs 7,000 to Rs 9,000.
Khattar said with a view to ensure proper drainage system in the villages of the state, direction had been issued to prepare sewerage system project for villages having a population of more than 10,000.
Khattar, meanwhile, said appointment letters of 350 doctors had been issued recently and more doctors would be recruited soon.
The CM was accompanied by Minister of State for Food and Supplies Karan Dev Kamboj, CPS Bakshish Singh and others. He said all Deputy Commissioners had been asked to get the feasibility study conducted from the respective departments regarding the announcements of development projects.
When asked about the shortage of radiologists at Kalpana Chawla Government Medical College Hospital, Khattar said services of private doctors would be outsourced till regular specialists were appointed.
He also attended the marriage function of Gharaunda MLA Harvinder Kalyan’s daughter at Kalyan Farm.
