Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar has invited Israeli Aerospace Industry (IAI) to set up ancillary units at Hisar Aviation Hub being set up by the Haryana Government.
He has also invited the consortium of cyber security companies under Israel aviation industry to set up base in Haryana which houses top 200 companies in the world.
During the discussions, officials from IAI evinced keen interest in the aviation hub and agreed to visit Hisar next month.
The IAI has entered into $1billion contract with the Government of India under which it is obliged to invest or procure 30 per cent material from the local market.
He also visited the plant for manufacturing unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) and jets.
Meets UK health official
Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Thursday met Under Secretary, National Health Service, UK, in London, and discussed in detail how the NHS was funded. He also noted the game-changing IT initiatives taken by the UK to ensure flawless implementation of the scheme. He took active interest in minute details of the NHS in order to cope with the challenges that might arise following implementation of the Comprehensive Cashless Healthcare Assurance Scheme to be implemented by the state government.
Earlier, the CM, who is leading a high-level delegation to UK, was accorded a warm welcome on his arrival in London from Israel. He started his four-day visit to UK after paying floral homage to Bhimrao Ambedkar at his memorial in London.
