Gurugram, January 18

A college student was abducted and gang-raped in a moving car in Farukh Nagar on January 15. The victim,  a student of BA second year, filed a complaint with the police today.

She said two unidentified accused abducted her when she was returning home from college. They refused to leave her saying they had got a ‘prey’ after so many days.

“The duo pulled me inside the car while I was coming back home and before I could shout for help they tore my clothes. They told me to be thankful to them as it was just the two of them. They also threatened me to call 20 more men and murder me if I resisted or informed the police. I was scared and had been hiding myself in my home since last three days,” said the victim. “I was inside the car for hours as the duo took turns to commit the crime. They seemed  habitual offenders as they boasted that the police could not touch them and they could get me tortured by more men within seconds,” said the victim.

The victim refused to get medical examination done, but stuck to her allegations in her statement recorded before the Magistrate. She identified one accused, who was rounded up by the police.   “We have got leads and will nab them soon,” said SHO Karan Singh. — TNS
