Committees to monitor digital literacy scheme

CHANDIGARH: To spread digital literacy in rural India, the Haryana Government has constituted state and district level committees to plan strategies for and to monitor the implementation of the Pradhan Mantri Gramin Digital Saksharta Abhiyan (PMGDISHA) scheme in the state.

To spread digital literacy in rural India, the Haryana Government has constituted state and district level committees to plan strategies for and to monitor the implementation of the Pradhan Mantri Gramin Digital Saksharta Abhiyan (PMGDISHA) scheme in the state.

The state-level committee would be headed by Principal Secretary, Information Technology. The committee would regularly monitor and steer the implementation of the PMGDISHA scheme in the state.

The district-level committee, which has been constituted to oversee or monitor the implementation of the scheme at the block level, would be headed by Deputy Commissioner of the district concerned.—TNS
