Anti-terror front chief receives terror threats

YAMUNANAGAR: Viresh Shandilya, president, Anti-Terrorist Front of India, has alleged that Lashkar-e-Taiba has announced a bounty of Rs 1 crore on his head.



Yamunanagar, December 20

Viresh Shandilya, president, Anti-Terrorist Front of India, has alleged that Lashkar-e-Taiba has announced a bounty of Rs 1 crore on his head.

In a press note issued by Shandilya, the threat was received through a voice message and it was brought to the notice of the police immediately.

While accusing the Intelligence Bureau (IB) and secret agencies of dereliction of duties, he demanded a white paper to be issued to the effect that threats being received by him (8221953333) from Pakistan’s ISI, Lashkar-e-Taiba and mastermind of the 26/11 attack Hafeez Sayeed were in their knowledge.

He further said the assassination of Indira Gandhi, Rajiv Gandhi and former CM Beant Singh, 26/11 terrorist attack, Parliament attack, recurring terrorist insurgency in Kargil and intrusion of Pakistan terrorists in Dinanagar (Punjab) was the result of the collective failure of secret agencies and the IB. —OC
