Residents demand arrest of doc’s killers

Residents of Bhiwani today protested against the police failure in nabbing the killers of Dr KL Bawa who was brutally killed near Rashiwas village in Charki Dadri district on December 12.

The protesters led by local unit of the Indian Medical Association staged a demonstration near the Mini-Secretariat in the town. The protesters also tried to block the main road at the entrance of the Mini-Secretariat.

Superintendent of Police Ashok Kumar reached the protest site and assured them that the accused would be arrested soon.

Sidharth Bawa, son of the deceased, said that the family was deeply anguished over the failure of the police in arresting the killers of his father.
