Spurned class VIII boy molests classmate

A Class VIII student was booked on the charge of abducting his classmate and molesting her for refusing to befriend him, the police said.

The incident took place on October 21, when the 14-year-old boy came to victim’s village Islampur along with his friend in a car. He forcibly pushed the girl in the rear seat of the car, and molested and threatened her for an hour, while his friend drove them around. The police said the boy wanted to go out with the girl but she refused his advances and had complained to the school principal. The girl had approached the police earlier, accusing the boy of threatening to kill her. — TNS
