2 cops sent to police lines

Two policemen have been sent to the police lines for allegedly causing damage to a dhaba at Saha in Ambala district late Tuesday night.

According to information, three policemen in a PCR van were on night patrolling around 11 pm. They found a dhaba open near the bus stand, and asked its owner to close it and then drove away. 

However, after nearly an hour the policemen returned and found that the dhaba was still open. They had an argument with the dhaba owner. 

Two of them allegedly caused some damage to the dhaba. 

Superintendent of Police (SP) Abhishek Jorwal said, “Two policemen have been sent to the police lines following Tuesday night’s incident”.
