Dera verdict: DCP tells Panchkula lawyers to avoid certain roads

PANCHKULA: The Deputy Commissioner of Police has written to the Panchkula Bar Association president, requesting lawyers to avoid certain roads on August 24 and 25 in connection with the Dera case verdict.

Panchkula, August 21

The Deputy Commissioner of Police has written to the Panchkula Bar Association president, requesting lawyers to avoid certain roads on August 24 and 25 in connection with the Dera case verdict.

Meanwhile, CBI special judge Jagdeep Singh, who had reserved the verdict in the rape case against Sirsa dera head Ram Rahim Singh for August 25, on Monday went on leave for two days.

The cases listed for these two days--August 21 and 22--will be given new dates of next hearing.
