Hisar: Haryana girls’ team won the Sub-Junior Women’s National Hockey Tournament by defeating Madhya Pradesh Hockey Academy team here on Sunday. Haryana scored six goals, while MP scored one goal. Orissa team stood third and Sports Authority of India (SAI) took the fourth spot. Governor Kaptan Singh Solanki presented trophy to the winning team. Haryana player Deepika was adjudged the best player of the tournament while Simran was declared best goalkeeper. TNS
