Panipat, January 21

Former Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda said the BJP-led state government had failed to maintain law and order in the state. It seemed that there was no government and it was free-for-all in the state, he said while interacting with mediapersons today.

No one was feeling secure in the state due to worst of law and order situation, he said, adding that the government had given Beti Bachao-Beti Padhao slogan, but daughters were not safe in the state. He said the killing of a school principal in Yamunanagar was very unfortunate. Haryana was well-known for its prosperity, sports and development during 10 years of the Congress government, he said.

The rise in crimes against women was an achievement of the BJP government in the last three-and-a-half years, he added. “We demand imposition of the President’s rule as the government has failed to maintain law and order in the state,” he said.
