Khattar lauds Modi’s efforts to make Yoga Day international event

KARNAL: Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Wednesday lauded Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s efforts to make Yoga Day an international event.

Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Wednesday lauded Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s efforts to make Yoga Day an international event.                        

He was addressing a gathering after participating in the Yoga Day celebrations here.

The CM said for promoting yoga in Haryana, several yogshalas had to be started at the village level.                       

He counted the achievements of his government, including bringing transparency, eradicating corruption, grievances’ redressal through the CM window and others.                       

He also cited the benefits of yoga.                       

“Our government has been working on promoting yoga, ayurveda and Sanskrit,” the CM said.                      

“Land has been finalised for making Sanskrit University at Mundri in Kaithal and a Sanskrit college is being established at Mansa Devi,” the CM said.                      

He asked people to adopt yoga in their daily life.                        

“‘Sabka sath, sabka vikas’ is our aim and we are working on it. Development without discrimination is being done,” he said.                       

While interacting with mediapersons, the CM said that with the cooperation of all, Ram Nath Kovind would be the next President.
