Haryana Pradesh Congress Committee president Ashok Tanwar on Tuesday claimed that because of the united efforts of the state Congress leaders, lakhs of people from Haryana will attend the April 29 Congress rally in Delhi. While addressing the party workers of Sonepat, Panipat and Karnal districts, he said this would be Rahul Gandhi’s first rally after becoming president of the party.

Tanwar alleged that BJP leaders had turned their black money into white, which was being used for the construction of high-tech party offices. “The BJP has lost its relevance with the people because of its anti-poor policies,” he added.

In reply to a question about the alliance between the INLD and BSP in Haryana, Tanwar said both the parties were spent force in the state and their alliance would make hardly any difference in the elections.
