Gurugram, June 26
The Aam Aadmi Party has named Naveen Jaihind, Haryana president of the party, as chief ministerial candidate. The declaration was made by party's media coordinator Sudhir Yadav at a press conference here today.
Accusing the Manoha Lal Khattar government of duping voters, Yadav said the AAP firmly believed that Jaihind was face of revolution in Haryana and would lead the state to development.
"One word that perfectly describes the state of affairs in Haryana is 'sorry'. People chose BJP expecting a breather from corrupt Congress
government but in Khattar's regime a city like Gurugram which has world-class potential and generates revenues in hundreds of crores continues to struggle for the want of basic infrastructure needs," said Yadav.
