Rewari, February 25
A youth was killed and his friend injured after they were assaulted by a group of armed youths at Dhaaruhera Chungi here on Friday night.
The deceased has been identified as Sanjay of Nayi Aabadi Mohalla and the injured as Devender of Durga Colony, who is undergoing treatment at a private hospital where his condition is stated to be critical.
The victims were assaulted around 10 pm when they were returning to their homes on a motorbike.
The assailants are stated to be the members of Aalo gang, which has rivalry with Jhota gang. It is believed that the victims belonged to the latter. The police have started investigation after registering a case against some youths. — TNS
