The political scene in Haryana is heating up ahead of BJP chief Amit Shah’s Jind visit on February 15 with political parties gearing up to oppose the rally in view of “BJP’s failure on all fronts”.

While BJP leaders seemed optimistic, claiming that over 1 lakh motorcycles had been registered for the rally aimed at sounding the party’s poll bugle for the 2019 Lok Sabha and Vidhan Sabha elections, the Opposition has reiterated its opposition to the visit.

State AAP chief Naveen Jaihind announced to present pakoras to Shah for BJP’s failure to generate the promised 3 lakh jobs for the youth in the last three years.

The Congress, under the leadership of HPCC treasurer Tarun Bhandari, has chalked its “strategy” to oppose the BJP chief’s visit to the state.

The INLD had already announced to oppose Shah’s visit by showing black flags and balloons.

State BJP’s media incharge Rajiv Jain said the rally was part of ‘Mission Vistaar’ to strengthen the party organisation at the booth level and gear up the party cadre for the poll.

Besides inaugurating the Jind district office, Shah is scheduled to lay the foundation stone of party offices in 14 districts across Haryana.
