PANIPAT: Youth Congress workers today staged a dharna covering their mouths with black cloth against the Union government on the issue of Supreme Court Judges’ media address against the Chief Justice of of the apex court.

Panipat, December 13

Youth Congress workers today staged a dharna covering their mouths with black cloth against the Union government on the issue of Supreme Court Judges’ media address against the Chief Justice of of the apex court.

The party workers led by Jitender Kundu, district president, gathered near the statue of Bhim Rao Ambedkar in the mini-secretariat and staged a dharna there.

Kundu said, “It was a black day in the history of India. It was unfortunate that four senior-most judges had to address mediapersons on internal issues. What were the reasons behind their statements, the BJP-led Union government must clarify to the people of the country”.

District president of the Kissan Khet Majdoor Congress Rajesh Badoli, district general secretary Amit Kharab and Vikas Dahiya took part in the protest.
