Pensioners’ DA hiked to 4 pc

CHANDIGARH: The state government has hiked the DA of pensioners from 2% to 4%, Finance Minister Capt Abhimanyu said here today.



Chandigarh, May 22

The state government has hiked the DA of pensioners from 2% to 4%, Finance Minister Capt Abhimanyu said here today. He said the revised DA would be paid to the pensioners from January 1. The pensioners would be benefited to the tune of Rs11 crore per month with this decision, he added. — TNS
