Bhani Ram Mangla, Chairman of the state Gau Seva Aayog, said a fine of Rs5,100 would be imposed on those abandoning milch cows in the state.
While speaking at a function organised to distribute financial assistance cheques to gaushalas in Bhiwani district today, Mangla said a mobile phone application was being prepared with the assistance of the IT cell, which would reveal information about the place and district of animal on the basis of a tag number.
He said apart from this, a grant of 90 per cent would be given on equipment used for making different products like flowerpots, soaps, lamps, dhoop and other items from cow urine and cow dung. Similarly, the gaushalas, which have more land, would get 90 per cent grant on fodder cutting machine.
He said as per the decision of the state government, Gau Seva Kendras would be established in villages for the safety of cows. The government would give financial assistance for this purpose. The registration of the seva kendras would be mandatory and a committee would be constituted for its functioning. The aayog would give around Rs5,000 annually for rearing a cow.
He said biogas plants would be established in gaushalas. He distributed cheques for about Rs26.5 lakh to 24 guashalas.
