YAMUNANAGAR: Two persons reportedly committed suicide in the district on Monday.



Yamunanagar, June 19

Two persons reportedly committed suicide in the district on Monday.

According to information, the body of Ravi Prakash of Chanety village was found lying on the bank of the Western Yamuna Canal near Darwa ghat on Tuesday.

A piece of rope was tied around his neck, while the other piece of the rope was tied to a tree. The police said it seemed to be a case of suicide.

Ravi Prakash’s father Tara Chand said that his son went missing on Sunday.

In another incident, Mukesh Kumar of Radaur village committed suicide by hanging himself from a ceiling fan at his house on Monday night. — TNS
