The Haryana State Vigilance Bureau has recommended the registration of criminal cases against four gazetted officers and a non-gazetted officer. The bureau has also recommended departmental action against one non-gazetted officer.
A spokesman said here today that the bureau has also caught 17 officers and officials while accepting illegal gratification ranging from Rs 50 to Rs. 1,00,000.
The spokesman said Rajender Malik, District Horticulture Officer, Rohtak, was caught taking a bribe of Rs 60,000 whereas Rakpal, Patwari, Bighar area, Fatehabad, was caught accepting illegal gratification of Rs 5,000. Similarly, Hari Parkash, a clerk and Raj Kumar, a driver, posted at the Municipal Corporation, Karnal, were caught taking a bribe of Rs 10,000. Vinod Kumar, Sub-Inspector, Food and Supplies Department, Gohana, Sonepat, was caught taking a bribe of Rs 20,000.
Rajesh Kumar, JE, DHBVNL, Sheetla Mata subdivision, Gurgaon, was caught accepting illegal gratification of Rs 1 lakh and Pan Singh Tomar, Junior Engineer, UHVPNL, Power House, Siwan, Kaithal district, was caught taking a bribe of Rs 2,000.
Raju, alias Rajvender Singh, ALM, Kundli feeder, DHBVN, Tohana, was caught taking illegal gratification of Rs 10,000.
ASI Suresh Kumar, Panjokhera police station, Ambala district, was caught taking a bribe of Rs 4,000 while Suresh Kumar, Assistant Food and Supply Officer, was caught accepting a bribe of Rs 20,000.
Likewise, Pardeep, Patwari, Lalpur Dawana,Rewari district, and Vinod Kumar, assistant patwari, were caught while taking illegal gratification of Rs 10,000
Madhavi Lohachab, Women Protection Officer, Jhajjar, was caught taking a bribe of Rs 10,000 while Ravinder Kumar, Patwari, Saragthal, Sonepat district was caught taking a bribe of Rs 1,000.
