Ambala, March 17
Health Minister Anil Vij today laid the foundation stones of two development projects worth Rs 40 crore in Ambala Cantonment. He laid the foundation stone of a canal-based drinking water project worth Rs 28 crore at Shahpur village.
Residents of Shahpur, Machaunda, Sai Ka Baag and Shivala Mandi would get water supply from the project.
He also laid the foundation stone of a multi-level parking in the Ambala Sadar area. This two-storey parking complex would be built at a cost of Rs 12 crore and it would have the capacity of 250 cars and 200 two-wheelers.
Vij said, “The local Civil Hospital is first to provide Cath Lab facility. He said the CT scan facility will be available in the hospital within a few days. — TNS
